The pencil commonly used is of the HB type. Primary school students and kindergarten children generally buy HB pencils because they are moderately soft and hard, and the color is also suitable. When you start learning to draw, prepare a few commonly used ones, such as: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 12B. Soft pencils are marked with the letter B, while standard hardness is indicated by HB. (meaning "hard black" with moderate hardness). Among these pencils, HB and 4B can be used as a dividing line. The ones with H are harder, 2B and 4B are neutral, and they become softer and softer after 6B.
Coloring of different types of pencils:

● 6H~2H is suitable for plaster in-depth or hard objects in still life.
● 2B~6B is suitable for scenery and portrait sketches.
● 6B~8B is suitable for technical sketches and some portrait processing.
